Will it reduce my water pressure?
No. The Gaia casing is designed for full flow – water passes through the five media stages without restriction, so pressure feels exactly the same as before.
Will it fit my shower?
Gaia uses a standard ½ inch BSP thread (female top, male bottom), which fits most showers in Ireland, the UK and Europe. It sits between the tap and the hose, and can also attach to rain shower heads. Unsure? Send us a photo of your shower fitting.
How long does a cartridge last?
Three months, or up to 12,000 litres – with consistent filtration across the full cycle. The casing itself lasts for years; you only ever replace the inner cartridge.
How quickly will I notice a difference?
Most people notice the water feels softer and lathers better in the first week. Changes in how skin and hair feel, and in how colour holds, typically show by week 3–4. Results vary with water hardness and hair type.
Is it good for colour-treated hair?
Yes. Chlorine and metals from old pipework are common culprits behind brassy, faded colour. Gaia reduces both, so toner and colour tend to hold their tone for longer between appointments.
