The Gaia Adapter
This swivel adapter will create more space for your Gaia Filter to attach onto your shower.
Only necessary for shower units that have tight and awkward spacing with less than 3cm of clearance between the shower unit connection point and the wall. If you have 3cm or more, the filter should install without it.
How does this adapter work?
The adapter attaches onto your shower tap first. Then, you can twist it outwards (towards you) to create more space between the tap and the wall, so that your GAIA Filter can attach as normal.
Does my shower need this adapter?
Most showers won't need this adapter.
However, if your shower tap is installed very close to the wall (less than 6cm between the tap and wall) then you may need this adapter.
How do I install it?
- Remove your shower hose from the tap.
- Ensure black rubber O Ring is in place at the top of the adapter.
- Install adapter to shower tap
- Install filter as normal to the end of the adapter.
