Hello Gaia team and users! I’ve been using the filter for the past 6 months and intentionally waited with this review to give honest and trustworthy feedback. I live in Ireland but I am originally from Czech Republic and the difference between water in my hometown and here in Ireland is significant. The hard water was immediately reflected on my hair (they were just dead, dry ends, and constantly oily roots) and later it was seen on my skin (more prone to breakage and acne). Getting Detox Loreal Shampoo was not a bad idea at first, but washing it with that hard water did not make any sense… So I started searching for another solution and Gaia was a company that seemed to me trustworthy. I honestly waited a bit and just kept following and learning about the brand. And now here I am. I believe that the filter really makes difference in the long-term when it comes to quality of hair and skin. I see and feel the difference. My partner, who absolutely doesn’t care about these things, see my glowy skin and stronger hair too!! It attaches to the shower easily and it looks great. The condition of my hair and skin has improved they don't feel as dried out anymore. My freshly coloured hair still looks bright. Before I got the filter my blonde was turning mucky and extremely dried out. I am very pleased with the filter.

To be honest I never really review stuff however, this filter was worthy of a 5* review. It was really well worth the investment. We live in an extremely hard water area in Tipperary. My hair is highlighted blonde and my skin is very sensitive and I found it very difficult to find a filter that would work for me. It’s simple to install. Since installing my hair feels better, my skin is not irritated and itchy when I come out of the shower. Our shower head usually has to be descaled monthly and skin installing there is no limescale on the shower head. I really love this product and I would highly recommend it.

I bought the Gaia filter after seeing it on Instagram and came across the stall at the Marina Markets in Cork, it was for my boyfriends shower which has extremely limey water (shampoo bottles covered in white scale, felt super dry and dank coming out of the shower in my hair and skin) and since the filter my hair and skin feels 100 times better, and my boyfriend who now gets to use the filter, has benefitted with spots on his back clearing up. Since purchasing this shower filter . My hair is softer, less frizzy and my skin is clearer. Love this product, my family's scalps have been suffering a lot recently I've always had dermatitis in my scalp but it has Been getting worse for the past few years. 4 years ago when we moved I never even thought our water would be affecting my hair. I bought this filter mainly for my hair. I used to be a hairdresser and colour it myself. The last time I coloured it I ended up doing multiple colours/ hi-lights as it didn't go to plan! I also stripped it a little too so. I remember thinking that it's going to be in bits now after all this! But I was amazed to see it was stil soft and healthy even after all the damage it had been through. 100% had to of been the filter as when I've done this in the past my hair was always in a bad way afterwards.
